Signa connects clinics and pharmacies through a verified, encrypted, real-time prescription network — eliminating fraud, reducing dispensing errors, and closing the loop between diagnosis and treatment.
Every day, millions of paper prescriptions are written, handed over, lost, duplicated, and forged. The chain of custody between doctor and pharmacist is broken by paper, distance, and trust gaps. Signa replaces this entire system with a live, cryptographically secure digital prescription layer — making healthcare faster, safer, and impossible to game.
Every prescription is encrypted at source, signed with the doctor's verified credentials, and bound to a one-time-use QR code. There is no pathway to forgery — structurally or cryptographically.
From the moment a doctor confirms a prescription in Origin Console, the receiving pharmacy can see it — before the patient even leaves the consulting room. No delays. No phone calls. No lost scripts.
Not every clinic or pharmacy can join Signa. Our onboarding process verifies licences, professional standing, and compliance readiness. We are building a network where trust is the only currency.
Partner pharmacies receive confirmed prescription orders before the patient leaves the clinic. That means guaranteed foot traffic, zero wasted stock preparation time, and measurable revenue uplift.
A purpose-built, secure web interface for clinics to issue, manage, and track every prescription. Built for busy doctors — clean, fast, distraction-free, with audit trails that never lie.
Every prescription carries a cryptographic hash. Any alteration — even a single character — invalidates the QR code immediately. Pharmacy staff are alerted before a single tablet is dispensed.
Signa removes every inefficiency in the prescribing process. Here's the complete lifecycle of a Signa prescription.
Verified doctor logs into Origin Console via MFA-secured credentials linked to their professional licence.
Doctor completes digital prescription. The system auto-validates dosage, interactions, and formulary compliance.
A one-time-use encrypted QR is created, cryptographically signed, and sent to patient's phone and the designated pharmacy simultaneously.
Partner pharmacy scans QR. The system confirms authenticity, checks for prior claims, and releases the dispensing workflow.
Prescription is marked claimed. No second claim is ever possible. The audit trail is sealed, permanent, and auditor-ready.
Every clinic and pharmacy on the Signa network contributes to a shared, secure data layer. Anonymised and aggregated intelligence helps surface prescription trends, flag drug shortages before they hit patients, and build the most robust health data infrastructure in the region.
"Our dispensing errors dropped to zero within the first month. When a QR won't scan, we know immediately something is wrong — and that's everything in this business."
"We used to spend 20 minutes per patient confirming prescriptions over the phone. Now the script is waiting for us before the patient even arrives. It has transformed our throughput."
"The audit trail alone is worth it. Every prescription is documented, timestamped, and immutable. When the medical council asks for records, we export them in under a minute."
We are selective about who joins the network because the network's value depends on every participant meeting our standards. Apply to be considered. If you qualify, we'll be in touch within 24 hours to schedule your Discovery Call.
Origin Console is the secure, doctor-facing interface at the heart of the Signa network. It is purpose-built for the reality of clinical practice — fast to use under pressure, impossible to compromise, and designed to make every prescription you issue unassailable.
Origin Console was designed in direct consultation with clinical practitioners. We know that doctors don't have time to learn complex software between patients. The console is operable within 60 seconds of first login — and it does not sacrifice security for simplicity. Every shortcut is an encrypted shortcut.
Origin Console isn't just an issuing tool — it's an intelligence layer. Understand your prescribing patterns, identify high-frequency conditions, and benchmark your practice against anonymised network data.
Signa's QR technology is not a link to a PDF. It is a single-use, cryptographically signed token that encodes the entire prescription in an encrypted, tamper-evident envelope.
When a Signa QR code is scanned and a prescription claimed, the token is immediately invalidated on our servers. A duplicate claim attempt — even with an identical QR image — returns an error within milliseconds. There is no second chance. There is no workaround. The math simply doesn't permit it.
The QR also encodes a cryptographic hash of the prescription contents. If anyone edits the dosage, the drug name, or any field after issuance, the QR code becomes void. Pharmacists never have to second-guess what they're reading — the system tells them if anything has changed.
The QR code is cryptographically bound to the prescribing doctor's credential signature. Without the originating doctor's verified key, the code cannot be generated, replicated, or extended.
Each prescription QR carries a cryptographic timestamp. Prescriptions older than the clinically appropriate claim window automatically expire and cannot be dispensed without explicit doctor extension.
Any attempt to scan an already-claimed, expired, or tampered QR code triggers an immediate system alert to the originating clinic, the scanning pharmacy, and Signa's security team simultaneously.
Before any doctor can issue prescriptions on Signa, we verify their licence number against the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe, confirm their institutional affiliation, and conduct a background check. There are no anonymous prescribers on this network.
Every action on the Signa network — from prescription creation to pharmacy claim — is logged in an append-only, cryptographically chained ledger. No record can be deleted, altered, or backdated by any user, including Signa administrators.
Signa's infrastructure is hosted on ISO 27001-certified cloud infrastructure with end-to-end encryption in transit and at rest, automated security patching, and 99.9% uptime SLA guarantees.
Joining Signa as a prescribing doctor is not automatic. It is a deliberate, multi-step verification process that ensures every prescription on the network carries the full weight of professional accountability. This is not a barrier — it is what makes the network valuable.
The clinic applies as an institution through the Signa Partnership portal. Individual doctors are verified within the clinic's existing credential structure.
Every doctor's licence number is cross-referenced with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe. Expired, suspended, or unrecognised licences are automatically rejected.
Once verified, each doctor creates a Signa account with MFA including identity document verification. Their prescriptions are cryptographically signed with keys unique to their identity.
Signa continuously monitors for prescribing anomalies — unusual volumes, atypical drug combinations, or geographic irregularities. Patterns that deviate from clinical norms trigger a review.
Every doctor on the network is re-verified annually to ensure continued licensure and standing. Any change in professional status is reflected in the system within 24 hours of our knowledge.
Signa is not a SaaS product you sign up for with a credit card. We accept applications from clinics that demonstrate the operational, ethical, and technical readiness to be part of a trusted healthcare network. The exclusivity is not a marketing strategy — it is the product. A network where anyone can join is a network where nothing is trusted.
Clinics that meet our standards benefit from the halo effect: being part of Signa signals to patients, insurers, and medical aid providers that you operate at a higher standard. It is a quality mark that cannot be purchased — only earned.
"Being told we qualified for Signa felt like getting a Michelin star. We put it in our patient communications immediately. The response was extraordinary."
Signa-partnered pharmacies operate at a different level to everyone else. Every prescription that originates from a partner clinic is confirmed, verified, and waiting for collection — before the patient has even left the consulting room.
We're not in the business of pressuring pharmacies to join. We're simply showing you the economics of what happens when patients have a choice between a pharmacy that has their prescription ready and one that doesn't.
Non-partner pharmacies can still receive Signa prescriptions — but they are not the default choice. As the Signa network grows, the portion of prescription revenue directed to partner pharmacies will increase proportionally. The earlier you join, the larger your advantage.
We designed the pharmacy experience to require zero additional hardware. Your existing barcode scanner works. Your counter works. Your staff work exactly as they do today — except a significant portion of their prescriptions arrive pre-verified and pre-confirmed.
The moment a clinic issues a Signa prescription routed to your pharmacy, your dashboard displays it. You see the drug, dosage, patient name (redacted by default), and expected collection window. Preparation begins immediately.
The patient shows their QR code — either on their phone from the Signa patient app, or as a printed slip if no smartphone is available. No paper prescription needs to change hands.
Your pharmacist scans the QR. The system verifies authenticity, checks the prescription hasn't been claimed elsewhere, confirms the patient's identity hash, and flags any dispensing warnings in under 2 seconds.
You dispense the medication. The prescription is marked claimed in real-time. The record is sealed — immutable, timestamped, and accessible in your dashboard for regulatory reporting at any time.
Every dispensed prescription is automatically attributed to your pharmacy and recorded for monthly reconciliation, medical aid billing support, and performance analytics against your network benchmark.
When a Signa-connected doctor prescribes, the patient's app shows them a map of partner pharmacies near them, with real-time stock confirmation and expected wait times. The default recommendation is always a partner pharmacy.
A patient who knows their prescription is already waiting for them at a specific location has almost zero reason to go elsewhere. This is the compounding advantage of the network effect.
As Signa grows, the prescription volume routed through the network increases. Partner pharmacies capture that volume preferentially. Every month you wait is a month of compounding revenue you cannot recover. We are not asking you to be an early adopter of speculative technology — we are asking you to join a live, operating network that is already taking market share from non-partners.
We are selective, but not prohibitive. If you operate a legitimate, licensed pharmacy with a commitment to patient safety, there is every reason to believe you will qualify.
If you meet the above criteria, we strongly encourage you to apply. Partnerships are approved on a rolling basis and places in high-traffic zones fill quickly.
Estimated annual prescription fraud losses
Across Sub-Saharan Africa · 2025 Projection
Prescription fraud is not a peripheral problem. It is a systemic haemorrhage affecting pharmaceutical supply chains, medical aid schemes, public health budgets, and most importantly — patients who receive the wrong drugs or counterfeit medication. Signa closes the loop.
Prescriptions in African healthcare systems estimated to contain errors or fraudulent alterations at point of dispensing.
Average annual loss per clinic due to fraudulent prescription duplication, forged documents, and untracked drug diversion.
Of adverse drug events in outpatient settings traceable to incorrect dosage instructions or fraudulent prescription substitution.
Prescription fraud recorded on the Signa network since launch. Not reduced. Eliminated at the infrastructure level.
The numbers are not abstract. For every clinic and pharmacy operating without Signa, there is a calculable cost — in lost revenue, in liability exposure, in competitive disadvantage, and in the compounding cost of inefficiency.
Partner clinics report an average 68% reduction in prescription-related administrative costs within the first 6 months of joining the Signa network. The remaining 32% represents costs structurally impossible to eliminate — physical consultation time, drug sourcing, and regulatory compliance that exists regardless of infrastructure.
Medical aid schemes and insurance providers are increasingly recognising Signa-verified prescription records as the gold standard for claims adjudication. The immutable audit trail reduces claims processing from weeks to days, and the fraud-proof record significantly lowers dispute rates. Several major medical aid providers are in active discussion to recognise Signa network membership as a quality benchmark in provider agreements.
The countries with the strongest health outcomes are not the ones with the most hospitals — they are the ones with the best healthcare infrastructure. Electronic prescription systems in the UK's NHS are estimated to save over £600 million annually through reduced errors, faster dispensing, and fraud elimination. Zimbabwe and the broader region are at the beginning of this transformation. Signa is the infrastructure layer on which it is being built.
Not being part of Signa in 2026 is the equivalent of operating a business without email in 2006. It is not merely an inconvenience — it is a structural disadvantage that compounds with every month that passes and every clinic and pharmacy that does join. The network effects are real, measurable, and accelerating.
